Our client, a leading trading solutions provider envisaged a new trading platform and needed a partner to provide a framework and methodology, bringing discipline and rigor to the whole development cycle.

They partnered with Mastek and initiated a joint design and development process, developing a new electronic trading platform in an iterative process.

The core features of the new platform included: order routing; order management; global order book; risk management and control over the quality of service delivered to the end users.

We collaboratively created the application architecture that is open and service-oriented.

It is architected to be hardware and software (systemware) agnostic, to be capable of providing 24x7 operation and support fast message transport system.

The application can handle large volumes. It is highly scalable, and expandable to accommodate the business needs of futures and options brokers, independent traders and arcades through to large financial institutions.
